The Mosquito™ ultrasonic teenage deterrent . We would propose the use of this simple deterrent system which is based on the principle of the young having a broader hearing spectrum which diminishes with age. The device emits a modulated tone at 17.5kHz and 18.5kHz; a sound at the top end of audiological perception during teens and early twenties.

The sound will be undetectable to most people over 25 years of age but very annoying to those who are able to hear it. The device installed on a timer unit will emit the sound on activation of a PIR and will shut off after 20 minutes.
